I don't know how many MOB's one needs to kill as there is no way to track.

The only way I know of to track this is to use the 'Darkest Chocolate'.

I haven't done any serious tracking and have just kept an eye across toons on various servers and it seems that an average would be around 12 chocolates to get 5 keys.

I have seen it as low as 5 chocolates per key and as high as 20. This is not to say that a key will drop when you reach X number, just an average. I have gone as much as 40 chocolates for one key and then another drops shortly thereafter.

-----------------UPDATE 10/4/18-----------------

Since they changed how NR operates we need to change how we keep track.

Keys: 2 to 10 per entrance into the graveyard.
Chocolates: 60 to 80 per entrance into the graveyard.
