Can anyone help please, I'm new to this monster.
What kind of protection should I use for ghast. it seems whatever I do I've got sickened.

Ranged attacks as long as possible. This includes the alchemical attacks of the Mechanic.

I'm not sure but Restoration might help or the Poison Pot.

Upping your CON, Reflex, DEX, Dodge will help avoid being hit.

If you have a hireling, set them to offense instead of defense and let them deal with it.

Otherwise it will wear off over time or get to a rest shrine.
